Lauren looked beautiful in her St. John heliotrope dress from the Spring collection as she spoke about how and why she started her company, Vensette. Vensette offers New York women access to professional hair and makeup artists. There were 40 guests who attended including Frederic Fekkai and his wife and New York socialite, Shirin von Wulffen. Other New York socials included Flavia Oliverira, Kathryn Peper, Kaitlyn Jackson, Ashley Wilcox Platt and Helen Rockefeller. Various artistic workshops are provided to those children find a creative voice and discover a sense of individuality despite their difficult circumstances. Sponsored by St. John, the evening was hosted by Jennifer Howell, founder of The Art of Elysium and Jennifer Abraham, development director for the organization. Light appetizers and mint juleps, a traditional Southern specialty drink, flowed through the crowd. Among the VIP&rsquo;s in attendance were St. John CEO Glenn McMahon, actresses Melissa Joan Hart, Alicia Witt and Heather Dawn; reality star Rebecca Cardon, socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, stylist George Kotsiopoulos and editor of LA Confidential Sari Tuschman.
